Another Ghost Story of Dorm E4

That was a night that I can't ever forget  in my life. The dorm that I lived in the year 2006, at Malacca Girl High School, E4, was left empty for about 10 years and I am the first badge using the dorm. Me and my other 13 dormitory was sent to live in that dorm for that year.
The first time I step into the dorm, I already felt something that creeping me out. I don't have a perfect words to explain it to you as the situations there was speechless. Actually I don't believe in paranormal activities. My I do know something about that dorm from my seniors. They told me there was a reason why that dorm was left for 10 years. As our principle change, she wanted to use E4 as the dorm again. Many students who knew about the history of the dorm were not support the initiative. But she, the principle, insist to use it.
Night after the registration for the new year, 2006, we supposed to recite the 'Yassin' together but my dorm leader thought that it is not necessary to re-recite it seems it was already done in our 'surau'. Yet, the other dorm members agreed to keep it silence because if our warden figure out that we did not do it, he will punish us all. My mother once said that if we enter some new place, especially the place that have not used for a very long time or the abandoned, we have to recite some al-Quran prayer.
At mid night, after all the dorm mates went sleep, one of us heard a strange sound coming from the locker. Then, she saw the locker vibrates too many times. It look like there was something trying to get out from the locker. Actually, there was a teddy bear inside her locker. Yes, it was her locker. She was scared and woke us up. But when we look at the locker, it was fine and stick to he old position. On the first day, we were not believe that she had facing 'something'.
The second night after the incident, our dorm leader had the hysteria. She cried all night long. We called our warden and he recite some prayer then the 'thing' just disappear. Then, it was my turn to accompany her sleep. I sleep beside her and suddenly my blanket was pull down. Everyone in my dorm was sleep. So who were pulling down my blanket? I tried to be cool and just pull back my blanket. Then 'it' pull back my blanket. It was not funny. It was like pulling the pull and I try to pull back and whispered, "I don't want to play". Then the 'thing' stop pulling the blanket. It was such a relieve! Oh my, it was speechless. I can't see the exact 'thing' and I don't want to! After that, I tried to take some sleep.
On the next day, I asked my friend, Fara, whether she could sleep or not last night. Then she told me that something came to her last night and asked her if she wanted to know who it is. She just kept silence and wait for the day.
This story is a true story and while I am writing this essay, suddenly my hostel went blackout all of the sudden.

My Favorite: Volleyball

Let me tell you about my passion towards volleyball. Everyone will not believe that I am the volleyball-er!
I fall in love with game since the first time I knew about it and try to learn how to play it. It was like love at the first sight. Since primary school, I have some interest in this games but I am not capable to be the player because there are a lot of  player in my school. In addition, I am already the player for the handball team for my school. At that particular time, we, students, cannot play a lot of games in the same time. In fact, the training fall at the same time. So I have problems with the training time. But at the same time, I am only the beginner and I have faith to get into this game.
Being the player for my high school was already a gift for me. I represent my school for the volleyball tournament and I am the first six! I learn further about this game since I was invited to join the club. But beginners like me was only qualified to represent the school not the district or state level. I take that opportunities as to express my passion towards this game. Every morning in the hostels, I will play the game with my friends. If there were no one wanted to play along, my beloved teacher, Mr. Azam, will asked me to join him. I was the 'anak emas' of him.
Mr. Azam thought me some skills in the game and today I used it in the campus. I finally the representatives for my college and guess what? I am qualified to join the Karisma! I hope I could be the best player and of course I want to learn further about skills in this game.

Preparation for Hari Raya

Hari Raya was just around the corner. All the Muslims are eager to celebrate it especially children. It is a tradition, when Raya comes, me and my family gathered together at my parents house in Alor Gajah. It is different with the other family, my mom did not prepare the cookies for Hari Raya. It is because my mother make 'Kuih Denderam' for sale. She took orders from the relatives and usually they ordered about 400-500 pieces of it. My mom had no time to prepare those cookies and she just buy it at the expo or market.

While my mother was preparing for the sale, my sister and I will arrange the house together. We will put on new curtain, mop the floor and other stuff like buying new flower for decoration in our house. I have two sisters, every year, my sister, Ana Salwa, will take the cleaning duties while Ana Suriati will take the cooking duties. She is absolutely good in cooking. Every Raya, she will cooks Laksa, chicken rice and curry mee.

At night, my brothers will light up the 'pelita' around the our yard. Then we play the fireworks together, singing raya songs and many excitement moment. As usual, my duty is taking care of my niece and nephew. It is hard to describe how hard to take care of about 10 children at the same time. They are naughty and cute. My mom and sisters will cook 'rendang', 'kuah kacang' and 'nasi impit' together. Wow it is delicious! I can't wait for raya anymore, mom!

Childhood memories of Ramadhan

Ramadhan is the month that every Muslims have to fast. But I am not going to tell you about the fasting activity but I am going to tell you about the incident happen in Ramadhan when I was 5 years old.

The evening was perfect, Raya is just around the corner. My family was preparing for Hari Raya celebrations, painting and put on the curtains. I went out playing with my neighbor at his house. That boy, Iwan, was playing fishing  rod. He took the thread, bunch it to the bicycle stand and make it look like a fishing rod. Then, he took a screw to make it like the bait for the fish. Guess what? We were fishing at the dried drain! We enjoyed waiting until one time, the bait blocked by something.

Then, we both tried to pull the rod hardly and then...

   "Ouch!", I yelled.
   "What happen?", Iwan asked me.
"I think something hit me head".

Then I rub my head. Iwan was stunning. He looked like just seeing a ghost. I asked him how about my head and he just look at me and freezing.

The screw we take as the bait has a blue liquid on top of it. I thought the blue liquid on my hair but when I see my hand, oh my! My hand was bleeding. I scream as loud as I could. Actually it is not the painful, but the blood make me scared.

I ran to my house and my mom was surprised to see me like that. She then grab me and mumbled me all the way to the hospital. My hair was drying with blood and I was so scared to death! At the hospital, the doctor asked my mother whether sew it or not. But when he start cleaning the cuts, he could not find the real cuts then it is actually a small wound that don't have to be sew. Thank God I am safe.

On the next day, I was not allowed to go out for a week or I can say I was grounded. Later, I swear to my self that I would never touch any stand with thread and screw anymore.

My Roommates

Hello all of you,
This time I am going to tell you about my roommate.

Girl up here is Kak Iffa. She is 22 years old, taking diploma in business studies, and live in Kuala Lumpur. There were a misunderstanding between us last semester and that time, I don’t really like her because we had some misunderstanding before. But please, do not judge book by its cover. Kak Iffa is a really good person and a good sister. We always eat together with her friends. I am touched with her kindness. She was not like I thought she would be. My room will be absolutely silent when she was gone somewhere to class or study.

This is Sara. She come from Kuantan. Sara is taking diploma in quantitative science and she is in part 3. For me, Sara is weird. She talks much in our room. Even when she has problems, she will monologue with herself. Sometimes I thought she was talking to me! Weirdo! But it makes me burst my laugh whenever Sara starting to mumble herself. Sara loves chocolate. There must be at least a chocolate bar on her table. She loves watching movies and listening to music too. Sara is very kind and makes me comfortable being her roommate.

Next is Farah. As you all know, she is my classmate. For the last two semester, Farah was my neighbor. But this time, Farah is being one of my roommates. Farah comes from Johor Bahru. She is pretty. I don’t know whether her mom or her dad is Chinese. Farah also friend with my former schoolmate, Nana but we don’t really close to each other. It is hard to see Farah gets up late from bed. As I had count, there just 2 times I woke her up. I wish I could be like her, wakes up so early in the morning. Farah did not talk much like Sara in our room. She loves to live in her own world, reading novels, listening to music. Farah once advised me when I have some problem with my friends. I thank her much because still can listening to her roommate’s problem. That is Farah to me.

I think it is quite long, and that’s all. Thank you for reading!

:: subject for this semester? ::

What I am going to tell here is all about my subjects that I've taken this semester. There are 8 subjects that I am going to learn all over this 3rd semester.

First of all, let me tell you a little bit about BEL311,
This is the first time a man teach me English for academic purpose, Mr Izuan. He is strict, but I don't find that it is hard to understand what are we're learning and I can easily understand the way he teach us. I love English! Since I was in  the primary school, I love to learn English and my father is the one who encourage me to speak English. I'd never failed in this subject. Even though it is not good enough, I had try the best to maintain the B+ in my BEL260 and BEL120. I hope this semester, the B+ will turn to be A+. Aminn.

Next is CTU264. What I love about this subject is, we learn about Management of knowledge of Islam. Ustaz Saufi is our lecturer for this subject. This subject is compulsory for students in part one until part three. We learn a lot about Islam, the Al-Quran and the Hadits. I will try to maintain good results in this subject, CTU.

Next, I am going to tell you about my elective subject. First is IMD202 Promotion of Information Product and Services. The lecturer is, Miss Adawiyah. She has been teaching us for two semester. She is the most interesting lecturer I have ever had. She love to tell us story that sometimes does not related to our subject. But we all know that it is just to grab our attention. This subject is interesting. We learn about how to promote products and marketing. A lot of theories are in this subject. It is an interesting subject but it is quite difficult. I hope this would not stop me from getting a good result for this semester.

For the 4th subject is IMD208,  Introduction to Web Content. Miss Siti Nuur-Ila is teaching us for this subject. Miss Ila has been teaching us for the previous 2 semester and she is also my personal advisor. This is the killer subject in this semester. It is all about designing web and HTML. We only have once a week class in the lab. This subject does not have the final paper. It has the lab test, the individual project and the group project just like the other subject.

Hello :)

I am Ana Shazreen Bt Abu Bakar or just Ana for short. I come from Malacca and I am officially turn 19th on  this becoming 24th June 2011. Alor Gajah is my hometown. I got my 1st education at the age of 4. My mom sent me to the kindergarten nearby our house, Tadika Kemas Seri Kelemak. Then, I was sent to the Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Dato' Naning, Alor Gajah and I got 5As in the UPSR. I was a little bit upset when my application to the boarding school was rejected because I did well in my exam, curricular and co-curricular. I represented my school for MSSM and other sports. Then I got offer to the Malacca Girls High School and I has been offered to live in the hostel. There, I am practically joined the Police Cadet and has achieved a lot of great achievement such as represented Malacca in national level at Penang, Pahang and Sarawak in marching and shoot using M16 and revolver competition. I also got 5As in PMR and 3A in SPM.

Next, I am going to tell you about my family. I was raised by Abu Bakar bin Mohd Isa and Rusnah binti Nordin. My father is a former soldier that has been retired from the job about 25 years ago and my mom is a housewife. They both are the eldest in their family. I have 6 siblings. They are, Ryzal, Ana Salwa, Ana Suriyati, Ryduan, Ryzawaludin and the last one, me, Ana Shazreen. Ryzal, the navy, are married to Maizurah and they are given 3 adorable child, Nurainin, Mukhri Hafiz and Muhaimin. My elder sister, Ana Salwa the nurse in Putrajaya Hospital are married to Rozaide. They both got 3 little princess, Nabilah, Batrisyia and Adriana. On the other hand, Ana Suriyati has been given 8 children after marrying Mustafa. Overall, I have 14 nephew. It is such a gift when having a lot of cute, adorable and talkative child. However, my brother Ryduan and Ryzawaludin are not deciding to get married since they have not yet meet their mate.

University life is slightly difference with the high school life. I have continued my studies in UITM Segamat and I am taking Diploma in Information Management. At first, I have no idea what is exactly about this course and how to get comfortable with the campus life. I was relieved a little bit after knowing that some of my high school seniors is here, taking the same course. Now, I am in the third semester of diploma. The subject is absolutely all about the computers, network and multimedia. I am hoping that I will improve my English at the end of the third semester because I am going to take the MUET exam on the next semester.

    Thank you :)
